How Do I Make an Appointment?

Go to the navigation bar at the top of the page, click "Appointments" and then click "Make an Appointment." You'll be taken to a product page for an In-Person Shopping Appointment. Click "Select Time" and click through the calendar to find a day and time that works for you. You'll be brought back to the product page, where you'll click "Add to Cart." Then proceed to checkout as you normally do in an online store. We promise, you won't be charged, but you must complete the checkout process in order to confirm the booking.

What If I Need to Cancel or Change My Appointment?

We get it: Things come up! Just email us at shopparsimonia@gmail.com or call 314-474-0016 to let us know. Since we base our personal schedules around booked appointments, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours notice.

How Long Is an Appointment?

We are blocking out 1 hour per appointment. If you need more time, please contact us before booking and we'll see where we can fit you in.

Can More Than One Person Be at the Same Appointment? (Can I Shop With Friends/Family?)

Absolutely! However, during COVID we are limiting the number of people in one appointment to 4 (including those shopping and those just along for the fun). 

What Is a Typical Appointment Like?

When you get to the door, there will be a buzzer to press. We'll come down to greet you and swoop you upstairs to our sitting room, where we'll take a minute to go over your pre-appointment survey. After that, we'll take your measurements (if not already supplied in the survey), and if enough information was given for us to pre-pull some pieces for you, we'll start there so we can get a feel for what you like and don't like. You'll also be welcome to peruse the retail room for additional pieces to try on, then we'll send you to the dressing room and cross our fingers that you'll want to put on a fashion show! ;-)

One of the things we hope you'll love about being in a closed retail environment is that you can relax and be comfortable! If you love something you've tried on and want to come out for some squeals of delight, we got you! Or if you have questions about how something fits, we're happy to help! 

What If I Don't Know Anything About Vintage?

Fine by us! We're always excited to share our passion with newbies and have several tools we use to start you on the path to bringing vintage into your wardrobe. Don't be shy!

What If I Don't Find Anything I Want to Buy?

This is probably the number one concern we've heard from people so far, and the answer is simple: It's all good! We know this is a more personal shopping experience, and as such might make you feel pressure to buy something since you can't quietly escape out the front door like a normal retail space (come on, we've all done it!). We're just happy you took the time to come and check us out, and hopefully you liked how we curate enough to come back as new arrivals pour in (or at least keep an eye on the online store!). But you might also decide that what we offer isn't for you, and that's totally fine! Maybe you know someone who WOULD dig it and you'll pass our info along. ;-)

What Measures Are You Taking to Keep Customers Safe During COVID?

Everyone who works regularly in the studio is fully vaccinated, but, as we know, that isn't enough to reduce the risk of passing the virus onto those who are more vulnerable. We want to be responsible business owner (and fellow humans), so during your appointment, we will be wearing masks, and are asking all of our customers to do the same. We'll also be taking your temperature when we greet you at the door, and guide you to the bathroom once we're upstairs so you can sanitize your hands before we get to the goods!
